ET (FOX) The New York Giants will look to build on their Week 17 win over the San Francisco 49ers by beating the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC East matchup at CenturyLink Field on Thursday night.
The Jets, who lost their opening four games of the season, are 0-3 in their past seven games and have allowed an average of 14.0 points per game.
The Seahawks, meanwhile, have won two in a row and three of four after allowing an average over 17 points per contest.
New York, which has scored a total of 12.3 points per outing since the start of the 2016 season, has been outscored in three of its past four games.
New England’s defense is averaging 6.0 yards per play and has allowed the third most yards in the league behind the New York Titans (9.2) and Atlanta Falcons (8.7).
The Patriots’ defense, which ranked No. 1 in the NFL against the run, has allowed an NFL-low 10.3 yards per carry (23.0 ypc) and is allowing an NFL low 19.0 first downs per game (19.4 ypc).
The Seahawks have struggled on the ground and are allowing the seventh most rushing yards per game on the season.
Seattle’s offense has scored 24.8 points per kickoff return (30.7 ypc), which is third in the conference.
