| Posted May 05, 2018 09:11:30 It’s been a roller coaster of a season for the Chicago Bulls.
They’re currently in a battle with the New York Knicks, who have been winning lately, and are tied for the best record in the NBA.
Now, the defending champs are fighting a third straight series against the Detroit Pistons.
Which team has the best chance of winning this series?
Here are our five picks for the East.
Detroit Pistons: We’re talking about the Eastern Conf.
champions right now.
Detroit, which had a perfect 10-0 record entering Tuesday, will have to win seven of their final eight games to win the title.
They have a chance to win it by any stretch of the imagination, but they’re going to have to come back strong in their last two games.
Detroit has won three straight games, so if they can win three straight in a row, it could make the Pistons a lock.
Atlanta Hawks: The Hawks haven’t won a series since Jan. 5-21, 2007, and this is their fifth series in a span of two seasons.
They’ve also lost seven of eight, but this is a team that won’t be in the conference semifinals unless they lose one of their last four games.
Philadelphia 76ers: The Sixers are coming off a disappointing 3-1 series against New Orleans that was also lost to Atlanta.
They still have some momentum in this series, and the Sixers have won three of their past four.
But they’re not a lock for the title right now, and it would be nice to see Philadelphia finish with three straight wins against the Hawks.
Miami Heat: They’ve won six of their seven games against the Atlanta Hawks.
That’s been enough to make them a lock, especially if they win all of their remaining games.
Miami hasn’t lost since Feb. 27, and has won six straight in the series.
But Miami has lost two of the last three games.
If Miami can win two straight games against Atlanta, they could be in position to win a title.
Cleveland Cavaliers: Cleveland hasn’t won since Feb 13, 2008, and is just 4-4 against the Heat.
It would be a surprise if they don’t make it to the conference finals.
If the Cavs lose to Atlanta, Cleveland would still be in a position to take the series, but losing to the Hawks would make the series a tossup.
