We have no idea why the Cleveland Browns are playing so good, but we do know why they’re doing so well.
The Indians are averaging 10.5 runs per game, the third best mark in the NFL.
The Cleveland Browns’ defense is allowing just 3.3 runs per contest, the second best mark.
The Browns are the only team in the league that has surrendered a total of 30 or more runs in each of their first three games.
This season, the Browns are averaging 5.9 runs per match.
The record for a single season in the American League is the 966-run, 466-yard, 3-TD performance by the 1975 St. Louis Cardinals.
And, of course, the Indians have a franchise quarterback, Kyle Orton.
He’s now the NFL’s all-time leader in passing yards (7,823), completions (1,749), and touchdowns (33).
The Cleveland Indians are 10-0 in their last 11 games.
They have won 10 straight, including their last five games.
